Removals:
- OpenAI’s and Microsoft Azure OpenAI’s
gpt-5-chat-latest models have been removed. To avoid any issues with your AI Agent, migrate to a more modern model, for example, gpt-5.6-sol.
- The Handover Settings section has been removed from the Endpoint settings. Consequently, the Legacy option was removed from the Handover Provider list in the Handover to Human Agent, Question, and Check Agent Availability Nodes. If you haven’t migrated to the new interface for handover providers, refer to the migration guide.
As of Cognigy.AI 2026.4.0, the Step and Message explorers in Insights are deprecated. These explorers will remain functional until their full removal in Cognigy.AI 2026.18.0. - Added the Get Estimated Wait Time toggle to the Genesys Cloud Open Messaging settings in the Handover to Human Agent Node and Handover to Human Agent tool. With this toggle, you can allow end users to receive estimated-wait-time updates while they wait to be connected to a human agent

POST /v2.1/projects/{projectId}/logs/package and GET /v2.1/projects/{projectId}/logs/package/{logsFileId}/download API methods to package log entries into a JSON file you can download. These API methods allow you to avoid paginating through logs when using the GET /v2.1/projects/{projectId}/logs API method
- Standardized the Endpoints-specific API authentication key header for the REST and Webhook Endpoints. Now, use the
