Released April 28, 2026Features
Cognigy Serverless

Untrusted Extensions now run with full functional parity to trusted Extensions. To ensure compatibility with the new execution environment, review the Extensions documentation.New Google GenAI LLMs
Introduced Google GenAI as a new LLM provider, adding support for the Gemini 3 model family:gemini-3.1-pro-review, gemini-3-flash-review, and gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview. This feature enables more flexible, high-performance AI capabilities across different use cases.
Send Status to CXone Copilot Node
Introduced the Send Status to CXone Copilot Node, allowing Flows to send success or failure status to NiCE CXone Copilot for Agents so human agents can see the result in the CXone Agent Workspace. This feature is only available for Cognigy.AI installations integrated with the NiCE CXone environment.Improvements
- Removed the End Handover on Participant Change setting from the Salesforce MIAW handover provider. Handover ending is now handled automatically on the Salesforce side
- Added NiCE branding by introducing a wordmark logo in Cognigy.AI installations integrated with the NiCE environment. A configurable CXone button was also added to the sidebar and user menu for quick access to the CXone application
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the issue with the NiCE CXone handover provider where Package and Snapshot support didn’t work correctly, and Snapshot
referenceIdvalues were overwritten before being stored in the database - Fixed the issue where the Handover Providers sidebar item didn’t stay highlighted when navigating to a Handover Provider Edit page
- Fixed the issue in the MCP Server Endpoint where MCP server reconnects failed after a restored session. Now, a more stable reconnection behavior is ensured. Also updated the MCP landing page to be compatible with stricter browser Content Security Policy (CSP) protections
- Fixed the issue where adding invalid Knowledge Source Tags didn’t show an error message and blocked the Save button
- Fixed the issue where stopping a simulator run mid-execution created duplicate simulation results in the Insights Transcript explorer due to metrics being recorded twice
- Fixed the issue where special German characters broke the spelled-out alphabet in the Text Cleaner and Question Nodes
- Fixed the issue in the Voice Preview feature where selecting a language not supported by the speech provider caused calls to fail. Now, Cognigy.AI maps to a supported language variant or deactivates the call button if none is available
- Fixed the issue where Knowledge Sources didn’t sync when the number Knowledge Sources in the Knowledge Store exceeded the pagination limit of 25
- Fixed the issue in the Question Node where the Resolve Spelled Out Numbers option in the Answer Pre-Processing section incorrectly modified the last digit of large numbers, such as 18-digit values
- Fixed the issue where Nodes such as the LLM Prompt Nodes using tools became unstable when a low number of transcript turns was configured
Cognigy Voice Gateway
Released April 28, 2026Improvements
- Added support for changing the media path during an active transferred call via the Voice Gateway API. This improvement lets you remove Voice Gateway from the audio stream during sensitive payment exchanges, reducing PCI data exposure.
- Improved search in the Voice Gateway Self-Service portal. Now, results include all records, not just the current page in paginated lists
Cognigy Insights
Released April 28, 2026Bug Fixes
- Fixed the issue in Transcript explorer where sessions were incorrectly ordered, placing sessions with newer last messages under older ones
- Fixed the issue where
time_savings_secondswas 1,000 times higher andgoal_step_metric_countwas incorrectly calculated for currency and revenue metrics - Fixed the issue where date range filters in Transcript explorer didn’t correctly account for the user’s local time zone offset
- Fixed the issue where the Locale filter in the Transcript Explorer only considered the final session Locale. Now, the filter includes sessions where the Locale was set earlier via a Switch Locale Node
