4.92¶
Deprecation of Google Gemini 1.0 Pro model
On February 15, 2024, Google deprecated Gemini 1.0 Pro. The shutdown date for this model is April 9, 2025. Google recommends migrating to Gemini 1.5 Pro and Gemini 1.5 Flash before April 9, 2025. We strongly recommend carrying out this migration since Gemini 1.0 Pro support will be removed from future Cognigy.AI versions.
Refer to the list of all upcoming removals on the Deprecations and Removals page.

Features¶
New LLMs for AI Agents¶
This release extends the list of supported Large Language Model providers and models that can be used for Cognigy Agentic AI Agents.
We have enhanced our existing Google Gemini integration by adding support for Google's latest models: gemini-1.5-pro
and gemini-1.5-flash
.
Additionally, we have extended our AWS Bedrock integration to fully support AWS's new Nova
model series.
Cognigy's Agentic AI Agents can leverage the power of those new models, including all features such as tool calling
and streaming
.
Pinning your most important Projects¶
This release introduces the ability to pin Projects, allowing you to better organize your view when logging in to Cognigy.AI. The list of pinned Projects will be stored in the user profile, and we plan to expand the range of Cognigy.AI resources that can be pinned in the future.
Download for Knowledge Sources in CTXT¶
This release introduces the capability to download content stored in Knowledge Sources in the Cognigy TXT (CTXT) format. This feature enables customers to share content from our Knowledge AI product more easily across teams and Projects. The exporter preserves the structure of Knowledge Chunks, ensuring that re-imported files maintain the original Chunk organization.
Improvements¶
- Increased the button limit from 6 to 15 in the Text with Buttons output type
- Blocked inactive users from using SSO login
- Updated the links on the Get Started cards on the Projects page
- Implemented the prevention of user impersonation in the Management UI
- Added the capability to track total token usage. This capability allows users to monitor their LLM token usage per session
- Added a Temperature slider to the Advanced section of the AI Agent Node
- Added the Hide References to External Resources in Transcripts setting to remove tags that can reference third-party APIs (
<a>
,<img>
) from inputs to protect users - Reduced application loading times by splitting the JS bundle into chunks with lazy loading
- Redesigned and resized the AI Agent wizard
- Added dynamic highlighting of the Flow Chart during execution, updating every 300 ms when a user tests a Flow via the Interaction Panel. Previously, this highlighting appeared only after the execution was complete
- Added the Generate Search Prompt parameter to the Grounding Knowledge section in the AI Agent Node. This parameter is enabled by default and allows you to generate a context-aware search prompt before executing the knowledge search
Bug Fixes¶
- Fixed the issue where old Projects didn't have the
privacy_policy
field in the Contact Profile schema - Fixed the issue where a Playbook with
$
in the payload would fail to run - Fixed the issue where the loading indicator was displayed continuously in the AI Agent wizard when Flow creation failed
- Fixed the issue where long Project names weren't clipped properly in the Project list
- Fixed the issue where the pop-up asking to configure a new LLM appeared even though a Project already had an LLM configured
- Fixed the issue where AI Agent outputs with a tool call would only be displayed in streaming mode
- Fixed the issue where buffered outputs sometimes caused the transcript steps to appear in the wrong order
- Fixed the issue where one-time download URLs for the exported Snapshot, Package, Lexicon, and Trainer records were accessible to unauthorized clients
- Fixed the issue where navigation during Project creation was inconsistent
- Fixed the issue where AI Agent nodes didn’t display an error status in the UI when they failed

Cognigy.AI + Insights + AI Copilot¶
Traefik: Enable High Availability (HA) by Default¶
-
For dedicated and shared SaaS installations: To ensure HA, Traefik pods are deployed in 3 Availability Zones (AZ) (Cognigy.AI recommended setup) by default, one pod for each AZ.
-
For on-premises installations: Traefik HA default settings require that you run your cluster with 3 AZs (Cognigy.AI recommended setup), and the Helm Release spawns HA replicas across the 3 AZs. If you deploy your cluster without AZs, override the zonal
podAntiAffinity
key in thevalues.yaml
file, as follows:traefik: deployment: # podLabels: # uniquezone: "set" affinity: podAntiAffinity: requiredDuringSchedulingIgnoredDuringExecution: []
In the
values.yaml
file, you can remove the.traefik.deployment.podLabels.uniquezone
key or comment it out as shown previously.
Cognigy Voice Gateway¶
- Add the
FEAT_COMPATIBILITY_RFC3261
feature flag to the deployment ofsbc-outbound
. When enabled, theSIP 'Contact' user
header will be set to the same value as theSIP 'From' user
header of a carrier. This feature can be enabled by setting{{ .Values.sbcOutbound.registerRfc3261 }}
totrue
. By default,{{ .Values.sbcOutbound.registerRfc3261 }}
isfalse

flag toENABLE_DEEPGRAM
with the.Values.webapp.enableDeepgram
